How did you get started doing what you do?
I actually started shooting food photography and branding and one day a good friend asked me to shoot her wedding. From that moment on I was in love with it and haven't looked back. I can't believe that was 15 years ago!

Who or what continues to inspires you?
To be honest, our wedding community continues to inspire me daily. Our wedding industry family on the Central Coast is unlike anywhere else, we lift each other up and support each other daily. Whenever I'm lacking inspiration, a cup of coffee (or wine) with a fellow "friendor" instantly fills my creative cup!

What makes your business unique?
I think I'm what makes my business unique! When you are a client of mine I can promise you three things:
1. You will laugh so hard your stomach will hurt!
2. You will feel like a professional model when in front of my camera!
3. There will be no lack fun during our time together.

Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do because I believe in the magic of capturing a memory. A moment during a wedding that isn't front and center that some could forget, that is the moment I want to catch. A simple look between the Bride and Groom, or a hug from a loved one. Sometimes moments in life are so fleeting, and this is my way of being able to freeze time.

What would you say is your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment is becoming a full-time stepmother to two amazing children. When I married my Husband I became a Mom and while I'm still navigating the ropes of being a Mom it's a gift I wouldn't trade for the world. They teach me new things every day and have made me a better person.

What question do you always ask the Bride & Groom?
I always ask my couples how they met and how they became engaged. I feel like it really gives me a chance to learn who they are as a couple. I love to hear people tell stories about their lives, which always leads to me asking more questions to get to know them. I'm really bad with boundaries, but I feel the more I know them on a personal level it just ads a bit more spark to their images when I'm photographing them.

Favorite part of a wedding?

Is the cake a good answer? LOL! In all honesty, what photographer doesn't love golden hour portraits but I have a real soft spot for the Father/Daughter dance.

Wedding trend that you're loving right now?

I'm loving neutral colors right now!

Wedding trend that will hopefully be out next year?
Wedding Cupcakes...only because I only ever eat the top.

What do you enjoy doing on your day off?
My favorite thing to do is curl up on the couch with my two doxies and watch bad reality tv. When I'm not on the couch you can find me out on the Central Coast trying new food. My Husband is a chef so food is a big part of my life! LOL!

Tell us about your first job?
My first job was in High School at a coffee shop called Cozmos! It was at the ripe ole' age of 15 I fell in love with coffee and I've never looked back.

Tell us one thing few people know about you?
Rainy days are my favorite!

Favorite quote?
"People forget years, and remember moments" - Ann Beattie

What's in the top 5 on your bucket list?
1. Hike to Mount Everest Base Camp
2. Travel to Mt. Huashan in China
3. Sleep under the Northern Lights
4. Eat my way around Italy
5. Visit Northern Ireland

Where do you see yourself (or business) in the near future?
After covid I think all of us in the industry were left a bit rattled, so my current focus is just on relationships with my clients and having quality over quantity. I want to be able to give my whole self to each one of my clients.
