Sail away with us as we embark on a romantic coastal adventure in this gorgeous styled sunset shoot in Santa Barbara. The elopement was jaw-dropping, offering ethereal fashion details that compliment the scenery, airy florals and whimsical desserts.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Sawyer with He Calls Me Wildflower. Keep scrolling to read the details about the stunning shoot.

The Vision

"Pirate meets preppy lovers at sea. I wanted it to give the vibe of laidback elopement elegance. Stylized but not trying too hard. I loved the idea of a sailor/pirate vibe mashup between her Rue De Seine dress and his casual preppy sailor outfit. I wanted the florals to be white and on trend."

The Inspiration

"Pirate/ sailor elegant elopement vibes."

The Details

"I was most excited about the dress! Rue de Seine's newest line is very much boho meets Bridgerton and I was so excited to model a dress from Moondance Bridal! It really bought the vision to life. Since it was a simple concept without a ton of design, the outfits really had to carry the concept. Obviously the sailboat was an important factor as well to carry out the vision and this one is based out of Santa Barbara called the Sunset Kidd."
