Tyler and I decided to have our engagement party at the charming Rod and Hammer distillery, put on and coordinated by the lovely April with Rod and Hammer Gatherings. I have always loved the coastal cowboy ambiance of Rod and Hammer and as that is a piece of Tyler and I's personality, I thought it would be perfect to celebrate in their new barrel room. It's decorated to perfection, we barely even needed to bring our own things! We did, however, personalize it a bit with engagement photos, a customized bar sign and a beautiful cake by Harmony's Cakes.
That morning, I decided it would be really fun to visit The Hat Bar by KK in downtown San Luis Obispo and get a customized cowgirl hat for the party! It was the perfect event to do something personal with my bridal party before the event as well as make something so special and unique that I could use for any future events. I decided to brand our wedding date on the brim of the hat and my future initials on the back. Everyone loved it!
