When this bride and groom trusted Vino Fiore Events to execute their dream day, an all white modern masterpiece was created. We're still obsessing over the stunning florals, ghost chairs, and the ceremony amongst the willow trees at Terra Mia in Paso Robles. To top it off the bride describes their love as a "once in a lifetime". Jake and Necia captured this sweet love perfectly, we'll let the bride and photos speak for the rest of the day.

Girl meets boy!

Derek and I met 7 years ago while I was working as a server in a restaurant next to his work. I knew right away that he was the one. We moved in together after a year of dating and purchased our first home in Redondo Beach, CA. Derek is the most kind and loving man. He always puts his family first. Derek proposed to me the day of my college graduation during Brunch in his hometown, Laguna Beach with all of our family present. It was an extra special day, because Derek's brother who was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor and was able to be present during our proposal. It was a special day for the whole family. Derek has changed my life for the better, we truly have a once in a lifetime love.

Wedding Planning Inspiration

I drew a lot of inspiration from Morgan Stewart's wedding. I loved the modern clean elegance with white floral and gold accents.

Color Palette

Overall, the colors were white with gold accents and touches of marble. We really wanted to beauty of the venue to be the highlight of the wedding.

The Details

I was most excited about the 1/2 circle of flowers that our planner created. We really wanted to get married under the weeping willows, it was the first time the venue had a wedding on this part of the property. Our planner really had to get creative because guests were sitting in the willows looking out on to the lake. I was also really looking forward to the ghost chairs. It was a last minute decision, and I'm so happy we made the switch. They blended into the backdrop and the light shinned through them matching the reflection of the lake.

Memorable Moments

Walking down the aisle with my dad was one of the most special moments. The best part of the day was saying my vows to my husband. I was so nervous to say them in front of our guests, but when I saw my husband all of my nerves went away. We also took dance lessons for our first dance, so I was super excited to finally perform it. I was so happy that we found Bumpin' Ballroom one San Juan Capistrano, CA. They created a routine for us that felt natural and fun! My dad and I also took lessons, once of my favorite memories from planning the wedding is going to lessons with my dad. We had great bonding time and went to dinner after each lesson. We don't get a lot of one on one time, so it was extra special! He nailed the routine!

Raddest Wedding Vendors

Vino Fiore Events (Wedding Planner) We did full service wedding planning with Nena. She is amazing and made our vision come true! She is super familiar with all of the vendors in Paso Robles and was super patient when I would make a change. We also had the best caterer (Trumpet and Vine) the food was absolutely delicious. We decided to do family style, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the Chimicuri Tri Tip, Mary's Chicken, MAC n' Cheese, and Brocollini. Our photographer(Jake & Necia Photography) were so easy to work with and did a great job coordinating the photos. I love their style and personalities, we felt very comfortable working with them.

Advice for Newbie Brides

Get a planner who knows the venue and has experience working with the vendors you will be vetting out. Also, take your budget and multiply it by 2. That's how much you'll probably end up spending. There are so many little things to take into account that are not part of the actual wedding.
