What began as a sweet meet-cute at a charming restaurant blossomed into true love. Bailey and Tyler first crossed paths as co-workers at Giuseppe's in San Luis Obispo, and now, their love story has come full circle. It's only fitting that they chose to celebrate their engagement at the very place where it all began.
From the start, these two shared a deep connection, knowing they were soulmates from the start, even without the buzz of an espresso martini. I had the pleasure of speaking with the bride about their special photo shoot and what it meant to revisit the spot where their journey began.

The Meet-Cute
"We met while working together at Giuseppe's in San Luis Obispo--Tyler was a busser, and I was a hostess. And yes, you could definitely call it love at first sight. I'll never forget the first time I saw him walk past me while I was standing behind the Fiat-shaped hostess stand. When we took our engagement photos, the restaurant was actually under construction, so we didn't get a clear shot of the Fiat--but the photos turned out to be everything I dreamed of and more, thanks to Taryn!"
Who said 'I love you' first?
"Tyler said "I love you" first! He actually said it pretty early on--but I think we always had this unspoken sense that we were meant for each other, as cliché as that may sound.."
The Proposal
"Tyler proposed on what I thought was a simple date night in. He sent me to get my nails done with my best friend--no easy task since I'd just injured my back prepping my shop's holiday window! When I got home, dinner was ready, and my dog greeted me with a big bow around his neck--Tyler's grandmother's wedding ring tied to it. It was perfect."
How did you celebrate?
"We popped open a bottle of Veuve and enjoyed the delicious dinner Tyler had just made. We were both so giddy--we immediately FaceTimed our families and closest friends to share the news. It was simple, sweet, and perfectly us."
The Wedding
"We were actually married on October 19th! We planned the entire wedding in under 10 months, and it was truly the most magical day. Since The Wedding Standard will be featuring it soon--you'll just have to wait to see all the special details we've been keeping under wraps!"
The Talent Behind The Lens
"Taryn Dudley! We truly can't recommend her enough. She keeps you calm, makes you laugh, and somehow makes you feel like top models all at once!"
