After having to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic, Jacquelyn and Michael decided to opt for an intimate micro-wedding at the Santa Barbara Hotel Hilton Rooftop Bar & Bistro. With this downsize, the sweet couple was able to enjoy their special day with a handful of their closest friends and family members, allowing them to enjoy the process and the day of the wedding. All of the love was captured in images by Santa Barbara photographer Sarah Vendramini LLC.

How did this love story start?

We first met in San Luis Obispo as friends. Both of us were taken to different locations throughout the U.S. for work, but we always found time to stay in touch and our communication need wavered. Without even realizing it, we were building a strong foundation for a relationship and found a way to bring it to fruition. After 7 years of friendship and 1 year of dating, I finally got the opportunity to propose to Jacquelyn at Daou Winery to make all of our hard work official.

The couple wanted to tie in details with a California-theme throughout their day to create a relaxed and intimate feel, which were accented by a touch of gold, navy, and burgundy.

What are some of the most memorable moments from your wedding?

Michael created a book that he gave me on our wedding day that highlighted his favorite things from our relationship. Our first dance will be a forever memorable moment.
