Beautiful, timeless and charming, Mandy and Ryan's wedding day at Paso Robles wedding venue Fallen Oaks Estate was as dreamy as can be. The venue was already incredibly picturesque, leaving the details stunning and simple. Their ceremony took place under a large looming oak tree with gorgeous sun rays shining through, and the estate was the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable night on the dance floor surrounded by loved ones. I had the pleasure of interviewing the bride, Mandy, about the day.

Their Love Story
"Ryan and I both went to Cal Poly, but did not meet until after college. We met through mutual friends and were set up at their wedding. We got engaged 4 short years later on the beach in Morro Bay."
The Inspiration
"We knew we wanted a timeless, modern look. I love neutral colors and went for light pinks, taupe, and creams. The venue, Fallen Oaks Estate, has a beautiful white barn and giant oak tree, so we wanted those to be the focal points. The goal was to stay simple to really let the beauty of the venue speak for itself."
Color Palette
"The color palette was soft neutrals, with the bridesmaids wearing a simple taupe. The flowers were white, with blush accents."
The Details
"We loved the beautiful oak tree. We knew right when we saw it that we wanted to be married beneath it. Fallen Oaks has beautiful surrounding scenery, with rolling hills and vineyards all around. The area was just stunning."
Memorable Moments
"The most memorable part of the day was the first look. Ryan and I shared our vows in private and had a chance to take in the day just us two. It goes by way too fast!"
Knowing what you know now... what advice would you have for other brides planing their wedding?
"It all comes together! Once the week is here, just take it all in. Be prepped so you can relax and enjoy the wedding week. It is the best and goes by so fast!"
What was the most challenging part about planning your wedding?
"Budgeting."
