Tell us your love story!
We met on a blind date! We had a mutual family friend who thought we'd be great together. She was correct, and now four years later, we're married!
Tell us what inspired your wedding style and or theme.
We were really inspired by where we live. The natural beauty of California is tough to beat. On top of that, I went to school at Cal Poly and have family on the central coast, so San Luis Obispo was perfect for us. As for style, we wanted a neutral palatte from the get-go. Pops of blush and gold added some contrast and visual interest.
Describe one or two details that you were the most excited about.
Donut Wall! Everything that Lovelyfest created for us :) And our Spanish inspired rehearsal dinner
Tell us about one or two memorable moments that stick out to you.
Walking down the aisle with my dad. Sneaking away for sunset pics and my mom's surprise dance! (with a bunch of other guests)
Tell us which wedding artists knocked your wedding shoes off and why!
The gals at Lovelyfest really amazed me. Their custom design/signage work totally fit our vision and was exactly what we wanted. They created the most amazing escort display for us, among many other signs and displays. Our wedding planner, Azurae, (Ciel Bleu Event Design) was incredible. There are so many things we would've missed or gone wrong, without her. The venue itself was incredible. Jena, at Greengate, was helpful from start to finish. Our families loved staying onsite and we loved having everything there- cocktail parties, brunch, rehearsal, ceremony, reception, etc. They are top notch in terms of quality and service.
Knowing what you know now... what advice would you have for other brides planing their wedding?
If you don't have a knack for planning, organizing, or a strong design sense- ask for help! And get your partner involved. I was lucky that Patrick was so involved in the wedding process. It helped a lot, and we were always on the same page. Keep communication clear with anyone helping execute the wedding, including family members. And at the end of the day, know that you're the only one obsessed with the little details. Guests just want to witness your love and party!

The natural surrounding beauty with a little pop of modern elegance!
How did you utilize your skills and experience to make your bride's vision come to life?
Sourcing the best local vendors, constructing a thorough and precise plan for the installation, execution and overall guest experience.
Describe one or two details that you were the most excited about.
I was thrilled with the organic, naturally beautiful table scapes. They included garlands of greenery and a very welcoming place setting that was the perfect compliment to Trumpet Vines plated meals.

Katie Noonan- just look at her floral work it's stunning! Lovelyfest created such a gorgeous seating chart display- it was the perfect compliment to the overall wedding vibe! Trumpet Vine Catering's mozzarella bar and high quality presentation is always knock your socks off fabulous!
How did the wedding design express the couple's personality?
Kelsey and Patrick are seriously the sweetest two people and their wedding was chic and sweet, just like each of them!
