Dear readers of The Wedding Standard,
In no way am I Gossip Girl or "A" from Pretty Little Liars but I am the one pulling the strings behind all of our social media platforms and this very blog.
The Wedding Standard team recently had the opportunity to sit down with Anna Vatuone, The Personal Brand Strategist, and she gave us some very insightful tips on how to better serve our wedding community. First things first, we need to get to know each other!
A little about me:
My name is Alexandria Trovao but by the end of May, I will officially be Alexandria Johnson! I got engaged to my perfect match in October of 2019 and like many of you, I've been a reluctant passenger on this emotional roller coaster that is wedding planning during a global pandemic. It hasn't been easy and there have been many tears but my fiance has helped me through it and we cannot wait to finally tie the knot in May, no matter what it looks like! So, I want you to know that I see you, I feel for you, and I support you! I am going to begin sharing what my journey has been like this past year and the inside scoop on my planning process. I grew up about 4 hours north in Tracy, California and made my way to sunny San Luis Obispo when I started college. I graduated from Cuesta College with my Associates Degree in Arts and Humanities and went straight to work! I've worked in hospitality and events since moving here in 2016 and joined The Wedding Standard team in February of 2020. Woohoo, I just celebrated my one year with TWS! My job here has been a dream because I have the unique opportunity to talk to couples, get to know their stories, and help guide them in finding their perfect vendors. It's hard to call this work when it truly is so fun.
What I do for The Wedding Standard:
I have my hand in just about everything within The Wedding Standard. My role here consists of writing newsletters to you lovely couples, sharing love stories and beautiful weddings on our blog, posting social media, and recruiting the best of the best Artisans to join our membership so that we can offer you outstanding wedding professionals for your big day!

+ I continue to watch The Vampire Diaries over and over and still cry at the end
+ Podcasts keep me company during every car ride
+ If I could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, it would be Audrey Hepburn
+ My dream vacation would either be the Almafi Coast or Dublin, Ireland
+ I grew up living next door to MC Hammer
+ my favorite dessert is creme brulee
