Hannah and Cathan's Playful Chic Wedding at Rava

Jump into an exciting day with Hannah and Cathan at their dreamy and modern wedding at Rava Wines. San Luis Obispo wedding planner Elle Render Events coordinated all of the gorgeous and fancy boho details and Sefra Kay Photography captured each special moment. I had the pleasure of interviewing the bride about the big day.

The Vision

"They wanted black and white like a lot of couples lately. I softened the harshness of the palette by adding a ton of cream throughout. Adding texture with the babies breath helped give a little more interest than just standard flowers. Lighting is one of the most important to me. Creating layers of light in an event gives the ambiance. Bistro lighting over head, following by different levels of candles on the tables, provide a glow that photographs so beautifully. Instead of the standard cake, we opted for a champagne tower and gave the guests delicious churros from the Churro Cart to nibble on."

"I loved the bridal party entrance with the smoke bombs. It was dramatic and one heck of a way to say this party is going to be AMAZING."

Memorable Moments

"I loved seeing the mini photoshoot with the bridal party and moms in the bounce house. It was unique and playful which was the vibe throughout the evening. Sefra Kay Photography catured the images perfectly."

How did this wedding differ from any other wedding you've done?

"I loved that Hannah and Cathan were all about the little details as I am. There were so many little touches that made it special and unique."

How did the wedding design express the couples love story?

"They are a very trendy and fun couple. No stone was left unturned with entertainment and the neutral and modern palette kept it elegant and chic. Custom crafted cocktails showed off their professional sides and what they are passionate about."

Were there any challenges you had to overcome on the day of the wedding?

"There was a lot of moving parts, but together with an amazing group of vendors, the night went smoothly."
