Located in the gorgeous rolling hills of Santa Margarita, California, is an impeccable estate called Riata Ranch. Surrounded by breathtaking views and showcasing a western feel in their design, this ranch holds an ambiance like no other. We had the pleasure of hosting a venue launch party for this magnificent place, bringing the Central Coast wedding industry together with hors d'oeuvres, live music, and craft cocktails.

"When a new venue pops up on the central coast, we love to give it a warm industry welcome. This past summer, we were put in touch with Riata Ranch, a new wedding venue in Santa Margarita. They were interested in throwing an industry event, with our help, to show off their stunning venue to all of the local vendors. I immediately knew I wanted to get a planner involved so we can get Riata Ranch styled beautifully for this event. We love this approach so all of the vendors can see the space and how it might look on a real wedding day. It sparks inspiration! Rose of Rose to the Occasions Planning teamed up with me to create a fun summer evening out on the ranch. We dreamed up an epic vendor team and brought to life a beautifully romantic and bohemian design to enhance the character of the venue. The tipi site was a dream to work with because of its uniqueness. There really is nothing like it on the central coast. The owners of the venue wanted it to feel very boho western and it's clear that their vision was achieved!"
"We brought on Stefanie of Stefanie Elizabeth Photography to capture the day. You should have seen this woman in action. She is the epitome of someone who will do anything for the perfect shot! Her talents absolutely soared through her images. I did a happy dance when I saw the gallery pop up in my inbox. Alongside her was Mooncrest Media who created the sweetest video to showcase our event. They captured the essence of our event and styled shoot seamlessly."
"When it comes to throwing industry events, food, drinks, and good music are so important! After a long year of weddings weekend after weekend, we like to sit back, indulge in some delicious food, and sip a craft cocktail with friends so that is what we did! Brick and Mortar Catering created the most beautiful spread of food with Mediterranean inspiration. In between bites, we enjoyed Slo Brew beer, Ancient Peaks wine, and cocktails by Copper and Crystal who made specialty drinks for our event with liquor provided by Rod and Hammer Slo Stills! The lavish lemonade was my personal favorite on this warm summer evening. Dave Tate serenaded us with his vocals and it created the perfect ambiance for our summer night event. As the sun started to set, desserts rolled up in the prettiest ice cream truck in the biz! Haute Sugar Co. arrived with treats to end the night and it couldn't have been sweeter."
"The styled shoot aspect of the event was all Rose! She worked with Flowers by Kim and All About Events to style a dreamy reception table to showcase her talents. She wanted to bring a western flair to a romantic and boho design. Rose went the extra mile to rent a beautiful, custom cowboy hat for our groom. It was the cherry on top of their bridal look. Alpha Lit Central Coast lit up our night with their marquee letters. Their letters are always such a crowd-pleaser and perfect for photo ops! The signage was provided by Lovelyfest. They took our mood board and created an acrylic design with touches of leather. I could not have been happier with what they dreamed up."
"All in all, this event was a dream to bring to life and we hope to continue providing this service to all new event spaces on the central coast."
